The Five Spirits, or five “spirit minds” define your emotions, psyche, and spiritual nature. Each of the Five Spirits is associated with one of the five yin organs (heart, liver, spleen, lung, kidney) along with the organ’s respective emotion (joy, anger, worry, grief, fear). Taiji works to nourish, balance and integrate the Five Spirits by mending splits or ruptures existing within and between them.

This course provides extensive explanations of these psycho-spiritual aspects along with their Taiji applications thereby empowering you to consciously embrace and nurture them in your practice and daily life. Strengthening and balancing the Five Spirits endows you with a profound sense of calm and well-being, as well as a greater capacity for self-healing.
